Erika and I were fortunate to take a trip down to Virginia this spring in order to spend a few days hiking around in Shenandoah National Park (and checking out Washington, D.C.). We were really impressed with this park. While small in some ways, it was full of scenic views, amazing waterfalls and lots of blooming trees- like redbuds, dogwoods and crab apples. It definitely made us psyched to check out the Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountains National Park and more southern areas in the future. Here are a few photos from our trip. Enjoy!

Photos From October 2013
I recently realized that I still had photos from last fall that I needed to edit. Erika and I made several trips during that time frame, including exploring the scenery of the White Mountain region of New Hampshire and a climbing/fall foliage trip to the Adirondacks in New York. We were fortunate to catch both of these areas at peak foliage and here are some of the resulting photos. Enjoy!

California Trip May 2014- Part 2
Here are the rest of the photos from our drive along the California Coast including, without a doubt, our favorite place- Redwood National Park. A truly amazing place and definitely one of my favorite National Parks.
After dropping Erika off at the airport in San Francisco, I headed to Yosemite and spent a little time in Tuolumne so you'll see a couple photos from there too. Enjoy!

California Trip May 2014- Part 1
After spending three weeks climbing in Joe's Valley, I made my way out to California and met up with Erika in Los Angeles. We spent just under two weeks exploring the California coast, from Los Angeles all the way up to Redwoods National Park. Here are some photos I took along the way! (Erika took the pelican photos!)
